How to Use the Loading Area

The Loading Area is your operations center. It’s where you prepare for a flight: check your aircraft, review your assignments, refuel, and make sure everything is ready.

What You’ll See

When you have an active rental, the Loading Area shows:

  • Your rented aircraft: Type, registration, location, and status
  • Your claimed assignments: All active and held assignments with route details
  • Payload totals: Total weight and passenger count for your loaded assignments
  • Fuel status: Current fuel level

If you don’t have an active rental, the Loading Area will prompt you to go find an aircraft to rent.

Location Mismatch Warning

If your pilot is at a different airport than your rented aircraft, you’ll see a location mismatch alert. You must be at the same airport as your aircraft to start a flight. Use the transfer feature to move to your aircraft’s location.

Refueling

  1. In the Loading Area, find the Refuel section.
  2. You’ll see fuel prices at the aircraft’s current airport.
  3. Choose how much fuel to add. The system won’t let you exceed the tank capacity.
  4. Confirm the purchase. Who pays depends on the rental type:
    • Wet rental: The aircraft owner is charged
    • Dry rental: You are charged

You cannot refuel an aircraft that is currently in flight.

Operator Toggle

If you rented an aircraft through an operator, you can switch operator assignment mode on or off:

  • On: Assignments are handled through the operator, and payouts are split according to the operator’s payout percentage.
  • Off: Assignments are handled personally.

This setting is disabled while you’re in flight or if the operator has locked assignment mode for the aircraft.

Cancelling Your Rental

Click the cancel button next to your rented aircraft to release it. You cannot cancel while a flight is in progress.
