How to Buy & Sell Aircraft

As you grow your career, you’ll want to own aircraft instead of renting. Here’s how buying, selling, and transferring works.

Buying Aircraft

1. Go to Aircraft in the sidebar and filter for aircraft that are for sale.
2. Open an aircraft’s detail page to see its price, condition, and specs.
3. Click Purchase to buy it.

When you buy:

• The sale price is deducted from your balance and paid to the seller.
• Ownership transfers to you immediately.
• Any operator sale state on the aircraft is cleared.

You cannot buy an aircraft that is currently reserved, in flight, or not listed for sale.

Selling to the System

If you want to sell an aircraft quickly without waiting for a buyer:

1. Open your aircraft’s detail page.
2. Click Sell to System.
3. You’ll see a sell quote showing the value based on depreciation.
4. Confirm the sale. The money is added to your balance and the aircraft is removed from the world.

You cannot sell an aircraft that is actively reserved or in flight.

Selling to Other Players

To list your aircraft for sale to other players:

1. Open your aircraft’s detail page.
2. Click Update Aircraft and enable the for sale option.
3. Set your asking price.
4. Other pilots will see it in the marketplace and can purchase it.

Transferring Aircraft

You can transfer an aircraft to another user or to an operator without a sale:

1. Open the aircraft’s detail page.
2. Click Transfer.
3. Search for the user or operator you want to transfer to.
4. Confirm the transfer.

No money changes hands in a transfer. It’s a direct ownership move. The aircraft cannot be in active use or reserved at the time of transfer.
